While earning my badge, I realized that the values it represents are universally important, no matter where you go, you'd want those values to be respected and upheld within the community.
I appreciate how we can all connect with these values in one way or another, and it's that shared understanding that allows us to function and thrive as a community.
P.S My favorite one is Engage With Heart and Balance ⚖️ #trust #reliability
Honestly never knew about necro-posting. Pretty sure I've been guilty of that a few times lol. Also, "be the help you seek" is such a strong pillar. It's important to remember if you're looking for a well-thought-out answer, or clarity on a problem, to also answer in well-thought-out ways. Or, provide enough context to go off of.

I like the no b*llshit policy especially, as this is a real problem in our current times that information needs to evaluated and can't be consumed anymore wherever you get it, like reading books in my childhood - which I did a lot.
If all members follow this special guideline, the community could be a safe haven for people that "just want to know/learn/ask" without the headache that the standard b*llshit rate in the world outside is giving us.

I loved learning about the four key community values — Be Real, Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. One key takeaway I liked from the quiz is that using AI tools is okay when done responsibly, but it's important that our ideas and contributions are still our own. I appreciate how the community encourages thoughtful and honest sharing!💙

As a newer member, Connecting as a Community is not what I expected from Community Forums and I've been happily surprised by the support shown by this community! This has been thanks to #Like4Trees which has given me the opportunity to dive deeper into the forum to find and Like even more useful/authentic/inspiring articles.
What stood out most to me from the quiz is how valuable it is to revisit reminders like this—especially around Community Values in a community that means so much to us.
I was pleasantly surprised that "no necroposting" was clearly spelled out--what it means, what qualifies as necroposting, and what to do instead. That's one that might seem obvious, but isn't always.
Overall, though, I love that the guidelines and values are written to be very human-centric. They aren't scary and they don't sound like a fiat laid down from on high. They speak to people like people, and the two-way street of respect is clear. 😸

Funnily enough, I don't feel like these are that necessary to be enforced. The Atlassian space in general is already extremely friendly, helpful and respectful.

“Be the help you seek” really resonated with me. It’s a great mindset not just for forums, but for how we collaborate in general. Thanks for building such an open and thoughtful space! 💙
