Are there any plans to add markdown support for rendering mermaid.js diagrams?
Your competitors are able to do it (Gitlab and Github), so I assume it is possible without major changes.
I was following another thread but it was closed with no apparent reason.

I found a feature request that has been closed as "won't fix": BCLOUD-18559.
Someone raised a new request here: BCLOUD-21675. You can vote on it and add a comment to raise awareness.
Personally I doubt it will be implemented anytime soon because that other one was closed in 2022.
