Can this be extended to resolve issues on JIRA? There's already a way to link to JIRA issues in BitBucket.

Henry,

You can set up workflow triggers in JIRA to tap into many Bitbucket Server events.

You must be using JIRA 6.3 or above

Triggers can be configured to automatically update JIRA issues based on events like Branch creation, Pull Request creation, declined and merged and more.
