Why is this Advanced Branching automation rule failing?

Charlotte Reynolds

I have the following automation rule set up:

However, the automation rule fails when run every 12 hours with the audit log message: "The provided smart value couldn't be resolved to an object."

I want the rule to transition each issue to certain status if the Project End date meets the current date. Could you please let me know where I'm going wrong? Thanks!

Hi @Charlotte Reynolds , does your scheduled trigger include a JQL? it seems to me that you should set up a schedule trigger with a JQL that returns the issues that you want to inspect and action on. If you do this you do not need the branch at all. The trigger will return a list of issues that meet your criteria and then your conditions will inspect those issues and action on the ones that you desire.

it is hard to say for sure from your image, because there are no details on the trigger and the branch that has the smart value.
