Trying to use "Epic Link" as join criteria

The UAT examples both have the same Epic link.  When the JQL is in If/Else block, it says Did not match criteria.

Wondering why the smart value is not resolving as expected?

When I replace the smart value with the actual Epic Link value in the search issues, it resolves as expected.

In your automation are you using triggerissue or triggerIssue ? Also you might want to keep an eye out for upcoming changes related to the Epic Link field just in case it might affect anything you are working on.
