SEnding an attachment in email through project automation

I have a proforma form attached to the Jira issue and I'm trying to send it through project automation addon in an email. You can manually export the PDF, but I can't seem to get it send in email action in project automation.

I've tried using smart values, etc. Researched the community and doesn't look like anyone has found a solution.

Not sure why the Project Automation addon has "delete attachments" action, but not an add attachments action for Send email action.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Nita Brumbaugh

You are correct: it is not yet possible to send a file attached to an issue or comment to an email recipient using automation rules. You can only send a link to the Jira stored copy.
