Hi @Jit , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post. 

Why do you need a pop up message whenever there is a transition? Do you mean that you want to see a screen to enter some new information? Won't this create a lot of "noise" in your project?

Adding to Valerie's suggestions:

Automation rules trigger after an event has happened, and so they cannot show a screen / view.  Instead a workflow validator would be needed to gather / check the required field information.

You can also add a transition screen in the workflow which contains the fields which will be validated by the workflow validator to give the user the opportunity to set those fields prior to the transition.
