How to set epic story points based on child issues

I am trying to set up an automation to sum all of the stories, tasks, subtasks ect.. story points to automatically set the EPICS story points.

welcome to the community

I generally suggest to give story points only to stories not subtasks. If you still wanna go with subtasks I guess you would have to create 2 rules. The following videos guide through exactly your requirements:
