Hi @Bill Sheboy, your solution looks great! I'm working with a multi-user picker field and trying to create tickets sequentially using the smart value expression you suggested. However, I'm having trouble extracting individual email addresses from the user picker. My goal is to generate tickets one by one for each user (based on their email ID), with a delay between each creation. Could you please help me achieve this?

Hi @Sai Seelam -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

First, I recommend creating a new question with the "Ask a question" button at the top of this page.  That will help focus on the specifics of your question.

When you do so, please include images of your complete rule, the audit log details, and explain what is not working as expected.  This will provide context for the community to offer better suggestions.  Thanks!

Until we see those...

At this time, I believe there are only two ways to sequentially create work items with a rule:

  • create them one at a time with separate actions and no branching
  • use chained rule execution, where the first rule triggers another Incoming Webhook Trigger rule to recursively process them one by one

Kind regards,
Bill
