Hey Folks,
I'm an independent Forge developer with several post-migration apps on the Atlassian Marketplace (workflow analysis, broken URL detection, configuration cleanup). After over a decade of hands-on consulting for enterprise Data Center customers – including large-scale migrations, ScriptRunner automation, and complex Jira/Confluence administration – I started building the tools I always wished existed during those projects.
My apps use SQL storage and async processing with throttling and chunked batches – architecturally designed for large instances. But there's a limit to what I can validate on my own test environments.
With migrations like the recent PayPal case (3,000+ projects, 14M+ Confluence pages), I'm wondering:
How do other Forge developers stress-test their apps against enterprise-scale instances? Is there a program, a sandbox, or a community approach for this? Or does it come down to finding a willing customer?
Would appreciate any experience or pointers from the community
