Forge on Jira cloud

Hi all,

we are exploring migration from DC to cloud.

i came accross "Forge", i wasn't aware of it, and it looks like a native atlassian coding platform to extend products functionality on Cloud as well as option to create addons for Atlassian products .

Today we are using Scriptrunner on Jira DC only, and i was wondering if Forge can replace it, of course this would need a re-write because it uses a different language, but in terms of functionality - what are the limitation of Forge or what are some day-to-day examples that Scriptrunner on cloud cannot be replaced by Forge.

Hi Lior,

I'm the Product Manager for SRJ DC. Currently there is no a mechanism to automatically migrate SRJira DC to Cloud/Forge. 

We are looking at reducing the friction, by understanding Customer needs. Would you be open to a conversation with us to better understand the scale of your migration?
