Actual feasibility of migrating from server to cloud

We are currently sitting at 500 Confluence and Jira users and we use add-ons such as JSU, ScriptRunner, etc.  Are people seeing a 1-1 parity with their customizations when moving to Cloud?  What are some of the challenges or drawbacks people experience?

You might consider joining the Cloud Migration Group on community, there have been some discussions on this exact topic and the Atlassian team has worked hard on providing support and resources.

Thank you for your question.

In order to migrate your scripts from JIRA server to JIRA cloud then you should refer to the Migration guide inside of the ScriptRunner for JIRA cloud documentation located here as this page will help to outline the strategy that should be used to migrate scripts from the server version to the cloud version.

Also you may find the page located here useful as this describes the differences between the server and cloud version  around the Cloud version only having a Rest API and not the Java API that the server version has. 

This differences in the API's means that there some significant differences in the functionality between the cloud and server versions so we would advise reviewing this to determine what fucntionality may be lost when moving to Jira Cloud.
