How to stop 'Archived' Atlas Goals showing in Jira Discovery for New Ideas

As per the above

We have Jira Product Discovery linked to Atlas in terms of showing Goals and Projects.

The problem I have is when choosing a goal for an Idea in Discovery it shows me all Goals in Atlas including those that are archived.

This is becoming an issue now due to the volume of Goals we have in Atlas over time.

Is there anyway to stop showing the Archived Goals for New Ideas?

Also whilst here - I could not see Jira Product Discovery in the drop down list when creating this query (do I need to worry that this product is no longer supported? or is it my user error?)

I am experiencing this as well. Archived goals that my team is added to still show up in our JPD views. I would hope for a better solution than to remove the teams from the goal. 

Could it not be that archived goals are hidden in the same way archived items in Jira are hidden. Only reachable if you have the direct url?
