How do you remove followers from an Atlassian Home project (formerly Atlas)?

How do you remove followers from an Atlassian Home project (formerly Atlas)?

We have people who are no longer with the company but still showing as followers of projects in Atlassian Home (formerly Atlas). The user accounts are disabled, but they still appear in the list of followers. How can these be removed from the list of followers? Thanks!
