How can I configure the weekly reminders?

Our team needs reminders to go out Thursday morning to provide project updates. This is so that on Friday morning, management staff can see all the project updates.

The current system sends reminders on Friday, which is way too late for our needs.

Hi Andrew,

there might be a way. I personally track my daily tasks with jira workmanagement. And every Friday (you choose your time) an automatisation rule creates a task for every project i have to update.

Obviously there's a JQL identifying the task for the sub-tasks.

You don't even need a jira workmanagement project. you can do it in software projects too but keep an eye on your reports and numbers.
