Delete an update

Scenario:

1. I created a project far earlier than actual project started
2. Added an update by mistake
3. Few months later when project started I added actual updates

Now my update history looks like:

1. Invalid update created few months ago
2. Many empty updates
3. Few actual updates

I would like to see only actual updates. Or at least updates from project start.

Ideally I would like to remove any update. Is it possible?

I would also like to know this, it seems the Delete option is only on the most recent update and goes away as soon as there is another one.
