I am using Atlassian Projects (not Jira), with a project which is currently in private mode. I would like to change it to public but I can't find the button (even in the "share" popup).
It is currently not possible to switch a project from Public to Private (or vice versa) once it has been created.
There is an active Feature Request with the Product team for this functionality. You can track its progress, leave a comment, or vote for it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ATLAS-144
In the meantime, if you need the project to be Public, the best workaround is to create a new Public project.
