I created a new organization using my work email and would like to delete it.
Currently, all subscriptions are inactive. However, under Billing I still see:
Service Collection (inactive since 17/03)
Projects (managed by Atlassian, cannot deactivate)
Goals (managed by Atlassian, cannot deactivate)
In the Apps section, the following items are listed but cannot be removed:
Goals
Jira Administration
Customer Service Management
Jira Service Management
Projects
When attempting to delete the organization, I receive this error:
"Your organization has apps that you need to remove before deleting it."
It appears these are system-managed apps tied to a site. However, I am unable to remove them or proceed with deletion.
There are someting else that I need to do?
I'm following this guide Remove domains and apps from your organization | Atlassian Support
Fore the "Remove App" I do not have "Delete" but only Deactive
Hi @Matteo Gianello ,
You'll have to deactivate those listed apps - mainly JSM and CSM (and I believe others will be automatically deactivated as well).
As stated in the docs, that should trigger the deactivation process, and you will start the 60-day grace period after which you should be able to delete the organization (as all apps should be gone).
As an alternative, you can reach out to the pricing and billing team here: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing
I think you can select "Your Account" > "Cancel cloud subscription" and they should be able to assist you (or at least point you in the right direction).
Cheers,
Tobi
