setup two-steps-authenfication - login impossible

I wanted to setup two-steps-authenfication. it fails with the beginning.

My google account is linked to atlassian account and am currently logged in! 

I have no other login method.

"Start by entering your password so that we know it’s you. Then we’ll walk you through two more simple steps."

"Your password was incorrect. Double-check and try again."

I checked it. I even copied my password. its the same and it is not working. I can't login.

I wonder what passwort u are looking for because my linked google account it is not.
