I would like to DELETE my account, please!

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

Upon trying to delete my account several times over the past few weeks, I get the following message:

"You can't delete your account
Your account can't be deleted because:
User is last billing admin of a transaction account that has one or more active entitlements."

Since there is no direct contact or chat available via the Atlassian Support page, I request the absolute deletion of my Atlassian account, please.

My Atlassian Account is the same used to create this post.

Hi @Brett Nelson 

We are happy to see that you were able to get in touch with our billing and licensing team to unblock you with the pending products active that would prevent you from deleting the Organization and schedule the deletion for your Atlassian Account.

We can confirm on our internal tools that your Atlassian Account is disabled and should be deleted soon, as long the deletion process is not cancelled manually.

If you have any issues or something changes in the meantime, feel free to let us know here.

Hi @Brett Nelson, Welcome to the Community!

If you want to delete your Atlassian account, first make sure there are no active Cloud subscriptions/organizations (like Jira or Confluence) tied to your account (especially if you’re the billing admin).

You can follow these instructions:

1. Cancel any subscriptions you manage

If you recently cancelled, note that: it can take some time for the cancellation to be processed, and Atlassian may keep data for a period before it’s permanently removed (in case you want to reactivate).

2. Check what billing accounts you’re still linked to

You can review this here: https://admin.atlassian.com/billing

3. If you own an Atlassian Organization, you may need to delete it (or transfer ownership)

Thanks, but no, none of that helps.

My Admin Billing/Manage subscription was canceled on March 16, 2026. 

And I cannot delete any of the apps and my Atlassian Organization settings states the info in the screenshot below. Like the other threads on this forum asking for deletion per forum support, please just delete my account.
