Welcome to the August deep dive on the latest AI-powered Rovo features across your Atlassian apps.
From Compass support in Atlassian MCP Server to smarter Rovo Search and visibility into Rovo connector health statuses, this update is packed with improvements.
Let’s take a look! 👇
🔵 1. Compass joins Atlassian’s MCP Server
Compass is now part of Atlassian’s MCP Server so you can integrate your favorite LLMs and AI Agents to manage services with natural actions like:
Create: “Create a service component based on the current repository.”
Bulk create: “Import components and custom fields from this CSV/JSON.”
Query: “What depends on the api-gateway service?”

🔵 2. Easier discovery with improved Rovo Search
Rovo is one step ahead, suggesting prompts based on your history to help you discover the most critical work.
🔵 3. Zero in on search results with space filters
Based on customer feedback, you can now filter search results to your most-used spaces, helping you find the right content faster and with less noise.
🔵 4. Rovo connector improvements: from Smart Links to new full integrations
We’ve rolled out powerful connector updates to help you unlock AI-powered experiences across all your organizational knowledge:
8 new Smart Link connectors - Rovo now automatically searches across links you paste in Atlassian apps from SharePoint, Slack, Lucid, Dropbox, DocuSign, GitLab, Notion, and Azure DevOps—no setup required. Quickly find your documents, notes and more. Learn more: Search with smart links
2 new Rovo connectors - Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar are now fully searchable and integrated across Atlassian apps, so you can easily find events and context alongside your work.
🔵 5. See Rovo connector status instantly
Based on admin feedback, we’ve added real-time health visibility for connectors in the Atlassian Admin portal. Clear statuses like Syncing, Action Required, and System Issue make it easier to spot issues, troubleshoot quickly, and keep information flowing without disruption.
