XRAY issue type

Hi

We are using Xray integrated with JIRA cloud.

The Xray issue types like Test case, Test Set, Test plan, Test Execution has been set at the same level as Stories in JIRA.

We also have a complicated structure where there is a Business board and Technology Domain team board. 

From a QA perspective, I now can not link a Test case, Test set to a Story. Instead I have to link them to an Epic (Feature). So, while creating reports I an unable to and this entire process is becoming very complicated and frustrating.

 I do not think it is correct to define Test case, Test Set, Test plan, Test Execution at the same level as Stories. But want to know what is the correct/suggested official configuration?
