How to copy Epic Link to Linked issue, when issuetype move to another issuetype?

Hi Team,

I am trying to copy 'Epic Link' to 'Linked issue' as 'is caused by' relationship name, only when the issuetype is move to another issuetype using Move operation, so that I have written custom script listener.

The problem is now is that script updates (changed Epic Link after converting another issuetype is created new issue link) on every save. How to accomplish only when the issuetype is moved to another issuetype within the project? not with every update of the Epic Link.

Hi Salomez,

You could try this method 

'event?.getChangeLog()?'

in your listener script that listens to issue updated events.
