In Portfolio, how should I best represent public holidays when team members span different geographies?
I'd like to add public holidays for each region once (rather than for each individual in that geography). I believe I can achieve this by creating a team for each geography, but am then unsure how to assign members from different teams to a given Issue, since each issue forces me to select individuals from a single team.
Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

There is currently no way to have team / regional based holidays in Portfolio and creating absences individually seems to be the way to go in your case.
