Filtering out certain Dependencies in Plans

We have a team who uses "Relates to" dependencies links quite a frequently, and it's leading to their plan's timeline-view being overrun with dependencies lines.

Obviously we can turn all the dependency lines off, but the team want to maintain the dependency lines for their 'hard' dependencies such as "blocks" or "dependency" links.

I'm pretty sure that the addition of all dependency types being included in Plans is a recent change, so I'm hoping that maybe there's a way to hide certain dependency types that just hasn't made it into documentation yet?

@Kate there is nothing that allows you to filter by dependency type at this time.  You can turn dependencies off to hide all of them or you can change them to badges so it just shows a link or check the box and it will show the numbers.  Those are the only three options at this time.  You can see them under view settings.
