Over the weekend, the kids were writing their letters to Santa to tell him what they would like this year. I know that I asked this question last year and it was very well received so I thought I would do it again. For any Atlassian Product Managers that regularly watch the Welcome Center, take some notes.
If you could put any one thing on your Christmas list from Atlassian, what would it be?
I want to start by saying that most of the things I have asked for, Atlassian has delivered, so thank you! So that being said, I’m going to go big and say that I would like more self-service trouble-shooting in the Cloud products. When I was on Jira Server (R.I.P.) if a “Something went wrong“ error was displayed, I had access to all the log files to get more details about what “actually“ happened. In Jira Cloud, I would need to raise a support ticket. Most times it will simply work after refreshing the page and I don’t want to bother support unless it’s for something business impacting. But, if that error was a symptom of a larger issue brewing I’d love to be able to investigate it myself.
