Atlassian Community Round-up: March 2022

Hello Everyone!

It’s that time once again where I give you a small taste of the amazing content that has been posted on the Community within the last month. As always please use this as a starting point to go and take a look at more great articles I wasn’t able to include in this round up.

Let’s dive in!

• First up, a recent post but extremely importation, the Community support team linked to a Security Advisory that affects multiple products. Reading the advisory myself, it looks like Bitbucket Data Center & Confluence Data Center are the main products affected, but please go check it out to see what/if you need to do anything to protect yourself. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Multiple-Products-Security-Advisory-Hazelcast-Vulnerable-To/ba-p/1982575

• Next, another update on what Atlassian has been doing to help support server customers who were not in a position to move to the cloud products. It’s a lengthy read, but worth looking at (even for Cloud Admins) as it will give you some insight into things that Atlassian has done to improve the Cloud experience and some of the things that are on the roadmap for the future. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Migration-Program/End-of-server-sale-amp-support-February-2022-update/ba-p/1959635

• Moving on to Team '22, the finalists for the 2022 Atlassian Team awards are in! • Next, is a great collection of everything that is new in the Jira Service Management documentation. • Are you familiar with Project Categories in Jira? Did you know they can also be used in JQL searches?  @Kristján Geir Mathiesen does a great job of explaining how useful they can be in organizing your work. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Enterprise-articles/Using-Project-Categories-to-keep-Jira-organized/ba-p/1965861

• Finally, @Fabian A. Lopez (Community Leader - Argentina, Florida, California) has a wonderful article about how they are looking to get people involved in Atlassian Community events to support Ukrainian people in need.
