Is there a way to automate the creation of cards on Trello from a specific template, without the need to copy and paste information into each new card?

Templates are intended for use on the board by users. You are use Trello automation, you make a copy or create a new card but you supplied the card names, desc etc. likewise if you create new cards from Zapier you do the same. The advantage of having you users use a template is that you can enforce a new set of attributes for the new card.
