trello search bar not showing the cover image

why is the trello search bar not showing the cover image anymore?

it's hard to find cards with similar names, having to click on each card

any advices please?

Hey there,

Welcome to the Community, always nice to see new faces around here! :)

So, the change you see is a result of the new search that we are rolling out incrementally. With this change, customers now have the ability to search across Jira and Confluence directly from Trello. Awesome, right? 

The downside is that we, unfortunately, lost the ability to see image previews, but we might have a workaround for that - but not for long.

You might be still able to see image previews on advanced search for a while, but I'm afraid that is just a temporary solution to the subject.

Is there a plan to restore that functionality? Super helpful when reviewing 5 years worth of projects at a glance.

Loosing images in search was a huge step back over how it worked earlier.

We have several thousand cards in Trello, and seeing cover images in search was super helpfull earlier. Now that it is gone, search has lost alot of usability.

Please bring back the option to show cover images in trello results.

Fully agree. With over 200 project cards on our boards we leveraged the thumbnails in search heavily. Without the immediate visual cues it makes the search function twice as difficult.
