Hi Jasmine, welcome to the community! I don't think there's a Power-up that could do that, but there's a workaround that might do the trick for you.
When you click on a checklist item, you have the buttons "Assign", "Due Date" and there's a smiling face right beside it that is for emojis you can use.
If you write X on there, you can find an emoji that you can use on these items that you don't need. Like this:
