is there a way to soort by the "Cover" color?

In creating a solution to auto create a colour cover for cards, I learned that it is a card attribute that is set. So to sort by this attribute you will need to use Trello api to access it and use it for sorting the cards, say with a list, which is determine by another attribute pos.
