I have upgraded so that I should be able to see the timeline view. I have it "checked" in the dropdown menu of views, but I see no way to toggle to see the timeline view. Help is appreciated.
@Karen Derrick-Davis welcome to the community! @Alicia Filíu Birlanga is correct! Although your board might show that in English or another language :) When you have it checked, you should see a new button appear in the toolbar for Timeline and you can click that to view the Timeline!
Hi Karen! It's Alicia from Spain, nice to meet you. I attach an image with you should see in your menu board. Let me know if is something like that.

@Karen Derrick-Davis click the down arrow next to Board, check the box next to Timeline and you should see a Timeline button appear next to Board.

Oh thats weird. Hmm, do you have any chrome extensions or anything that could be changing the way that looks? (Ie, try it in another browser or in incognito mode).
Sounds like you might need to reach out to support https://trello.com/contact , that seems like a bug because you've got them checked and for me it just shows the buttons after i check those boxes!

I sent a request in contact and got no response. That is why I jumped on here.

Just resubmitted with more screenshots and heightened level of seriousness. Thanks.

Hi @Karen Derrick-Davis - Brittany messaged me about this so jumping on quickly over the weekend to look into it.
We've already responded to your original ticket, TRELLO-170900. Can you please check your emails for our reply on this?
We'll be closing the second ticket you raised as it's best that we have one ticket open for each issue you're having.

@Karen Derrick-Davis btw, i just thought of a workaround for this. Go to your board, and add /timeline to the end of the URL. This should take you to timeline view.
Ie, if your board url is https://trello.com/b/4CZk9lbY/%F0%9F%8C%AE-hit-dear-taco
Add /timeline to the end to make it https://trello.com/b/4CZk9lbY/%F0%9F%8C%AE-hit-dear-taco/timeline
And it should show timeline view.

Thanks for yall's attention to this. Of course the initial response went to spam, so I didn't see it. Sorry about that. The workaround worked! I still don't see the multiple options (board, timeline) but the timeline shows with the /timeline added to the URL.

My use case doesn't work well for the timeline feature, though. I am trying to input some very old dates for a genealogy project...
