how to fix notification bubble on wrong side?

guess some UX intern pushed a goofball update out or something and am curious how to get back the old workflow. buttons on wrong side now, on top of reshuffling of icons in corner. looks terrible, keeps fudging up work, would just like to find the option to make the ui good again.

@K Spinn can you send a screenshot of what you're experiencing? I haven't seen any issues with notifications or icons. Could you perhaps have a chrome extension that's impacting the behavior?
