I want to create a card button, that moves the card from the "planned" list to the corresponding month list. How can I set the rule: if a card has a start date, move to list {cardstartdatemonthname}, if card has no startdate, move to {cardenddatemonthname}
Automation buttons don't currently support conditions. You could use the button to do the action of setting something. It could be a checkbox custom field or label:
Button:
Add the "process rule" label to the card
Rule 1:
When the label "process rule" is added to a card with a start date, move the card to list {cardstartdatemonthname} and remove the label "process rule"
Rule 2:
When the label "process rule" is added to a card without a start date, move the card to list {cardduedatemonthname} and remove the label "process rule"
