email notifications for Mentions stopped working

We always had the notifications set for "Perodic" but in the past ( Two Months ago), the Mentions would show up immediately and the other notifications based on card membership etc would arrive once or twice a day.  Now we never recievie the mentions at all.  The mail notifications work for everything else just as they always have.  

All was working as recent as Feb but now nothing.   I have change the notification settings several times, no difference. I now have it set to deliver Immediately plus enabled desktop notifications.   The Desktop Notifications work but still no emails for Mentions.

Hi @Jim Boger 

If you’re not getting Trello email notifications, they may have landed in your junk folder. Ensure you mark the emails from Trello as not spam.

If the issue persists, add and to your contacts list. If you’re using a business email account, ask your admin to check your domain and email settings.

Note: To test if Trello email notifications are working as they should, go to and send a test notification to your inbox.

We have no issues with the notification emails arriving for card changes when following a card.  The arrive every couple of hours.  It is only the @mentions that do not arrive.   In the past, these were individual emails that were received separately from the card changes and comment notifications.

The sending email address is/was the same for mentions as it is for notifications.  Nothing is in our junk folder or spam.   

Puzzled.  Worked for our whole team a few months ago, now just stopped.  

We are on O-365.
