cut and paste from Microsoft word - acts like a file rather than simply just the text

Hi!  I tried to simply cut and paste information from a microsoft word document (that I created) into a card on trello.  It was the description part of the card.

When I cut and paste into the top level (card title), it works.

When I cut and paste into the description section, it acts like the information is an attachment.  

Is there any way to get it just to paste in the text and not treat it like an attachment?  Thanks!

Hi @A Lee - welcome to the community. Have you tried to when pasting, clicking your right mouse button and selecting "Paste as Plain Text" or hitting Ctrl+Shift+V?

Thank you.  Paste as plain text wasn't a selection option but paste and match style worked.  The other keyboard actions didn't work either.  Really appreciate how quickly you responded.
