custom fields

I only want the custom fields on some cards not all. How do I fix that in Trello?

Yes, Amazing Fields lets you decide which fields to show on your card. You can manually select them or you can use formulas to automatically determine which fields to show based upon the values of other fields on the card. (for example only show some fields when they are in certain lists or only show a set of fields if you have a checkbox saying you need the details, etc)

You would need to use a powerup like SmartFields that allows you to hide empty fields on cards. https://trello.com/power-ups/5e2212c3ba57415ef2ef9352/smart-fields
