automatic timeline view when opening a board

Is it possible to set boardview to timeline on opening the board? On some boards we only use timeline view so it would be nice to open the board in that view.

Hi @Barry Schulte ! For the moment, Trello doesn't offer default board views - having different ways to view the board information is reasonably new I guess, so perhaps setting a default view will be something Trello considers for the future. You can reach out to Trello if you wanted to request this feature: https://trello.com/contact#/

In the meantime, you can bookmark the board URL; when you switch between views, you'll get a unique URL (https://trello.com/b/abc123/board-name/timeline).

An idea could be to have a folder to access all of your views/filters:

Trello bookmarks.PNG

Or have it on your browser's homepage like so:

Chrome bookmark.PNG

ok, I can work with that for now. .. it would be a nice feauture though...

many thanks!
