adding members

What are the abilities and limitations of assigning tasks, and adding members on the free plan?

There seems to be conflicting information. Here it says that the Free Trello workspace members. and boards

Elsewhere is says that the free plan does not allow members and adding a collaborator is limited to one per board. 

I'm just getting started. I a sole proprieter with 2 part time employees who I want to collaborate with.

Hi @Chaya Esther Ort , I am not a Trello support person, but have been using Trello for many years now (with both Free and Business plans) and think I can answer your question. 

Basically, you can start using Trello for free together with your employees and stay on that Free plan forever. Only if you need some additional features you might want to upgrade.
