adding a checkmark (tick) to a description on a trello card

someone has added a checkmark after a line of text in a cards description, this could be really helpful for us but we can't replicate it!!

200@ 360 x 80 ✔
154@ 210 x 168 ✔
360@ 360 x 168 ✔

is anyone able to tell me how to add this please?!

Thank you in advance

Did they use the Windows Key + . shortcut to add emojis? Like this: ✔

that works on a computer perfectly - but it was done from a phone, and I can't find that emoji on my S20!

On my Pixel 4 and iPhone there's a "tick in a box" in the "maths symbol" category but not a clean tick like that.

Can you copy and paste it?

copy & paste works, but that means having to open up an old card just to copy & paste.

Was hoping (dreaming?!) there would be a quick/easy markdown shortcut for it!

thanks for your help.

According to this article, you should be able to put a dash then a space then [x] in a markdown field so:

- [x]

and it _should_ insert a tick....apparently but I don't know if Trello has implemented that feature in their implementation
