Workspace Calendar View Checklist Dates + Trello App

The Workspace Calendar View is a great addition. Two questions...

• The Calendar Power-up displays checklist due dates alongside card due dates but the new Workspace Calendar View only seems to display card due dates. Am I reading the road map correctly that showing checklist due dates in the Workspace Calendar View is coming soon? 
• Will the Workspace Calendar View be made available in the mobile app? That would be excellent since switching to a different platform on the phone (Google Calendar, Planyway) to see all of the board calendars synced isn't as functional or smooth.

Hey @Cynthia Brown - your assessment of the road map is correct re: seeing checklist items on the Workspace Calendar. I'm not sure if we have any work in progress re: seeing the Workspace Calendar on mobile, but I've gone ahead and raised a feature request for you on that one.

I appreciate you submitting the feature request. For context, I'm transitioning a small team's business (CRM, workflow) to Trello and there's an important calendar element. By that I mean, the team's ability to handle the heavy workload falls over a bit without tight coordination between the various board calendars and members, some members being in the field.

My story would be...As a team member in the field who mainly uses the mobile app, I would like an overview of all board due dates so that I can efficiently assess and then originate additional dates against projects without unintentionally creating schedule conflicts.

Appreciate the work that your team is doing - big fan of the product.

It's been a while since my business analyst days but love to see it. 

I'll definitely add that use case here, but might I also note that we do have the ability to export our calendars to external calendars like Google Calendar, Apple's Calendar app, Outlook, etc., would a solution like that work for your team?

I have tried cronofy, Planyway, and syncing with Google/Outlook - one of the team members is synced up through Outlook on their desktop. In terms of mobile, working directly out of the Trello app for calendaring is more elegant and efficient given their pace, load, and amount of switching between projects and tasks. If you dream it Trello can do it (most of the time) so I'm just trying to keep them as close to the platform as possible.

The Outlook app with the Trello plugin may be the way to go for now.

@Alex _ Trello The only items on the roadmap that I see related to Calendar view have already been marked as Released, yet the Calendar view still does not show checklist items. Is this still planned? I still wonder why it was ever removed!

Eu infelizmente não me adaptei a visualização do calendário ou ele está bugado.
- As tarefas concluídas continuam aparecendo no calendário. Isso causa uma confusão visual enorme. Dá a impressão que tarefas não foram realizadas e há muito ainda a se fazer. A sensação é péssima, confesso. Penso até em abandonar o barco.
- Se concluímos uma tarefa antes do tempo e colocamos como concluída, ela também  permanece no calendário, preenchendo um espaço. Para o planejamento isso não é nada saudável, pois dá a impressão que naquele dia você não tem mais espaço para tarefas. 
- Outro problema grave que ocorre por aqui é : Programei uma tarefa recorrente que deve se repetir todo dia 15. Mas ela está aparecendo no dia 22 de abril. Realmente deve haver algum erro. Ou eu realmente não estou sabendo usar.

- Um implemento que poderiam fazer é colocar na visualização do calendário um ícone  que identificasse o quadro, por exemplo, o logo do cliente. Assim conseguiríamos ver a quem se destina a tarefa a ser realizada no dia (para qual cliente o dia seria dedicado), e não somente quem irá executar a tarefa.

Estou testando a versão paga, Infelizmente se esses erros permanecerem não irei assinar e terei que optar por outro app

I'm not sure if this is the best spot, but I would like to emphasize the usefulness of checklist due dates showing up on the Workspace calendar. Shared team boards can get inundated separate cards. Many teams utilize checklist due dates to group like items. Please escalate the importance of this feature! Thank you! Bonus points for allowing options to control what shows up too.

I would highly recommend to all of you and anyone else in the future reading this: go to your workspace calendar and look for the link in the top right that says "Give us feedback!" This takes you to a Trello survey about Workspace views where you can provide feedback directly to the Trello team. I'm guessing they have a better view of those survey answers than comments here, so the more voices replying to the survey the better imo!

I work on a creative team using Trello and, having used other PM systems (Wrike, Workamajig, Asana), I can also say that not being able to view checklist items on the Workspace Calendar/List is a major miss in Trello.

For context, we are an agency where each client is a board and each project is a card. Our PMs use checklists on projects as needed and those task due dates are not visible in Calendar/List views alongside other project due dates that are not using checklists. 

Would love to see an update on this.

Yes, adding to this, please add Calendar View in Workspace views for Checklists within boards! this is a necessity!

Just to add to this - I almost wish I hadn't upgraded to the paid-for platform because this feature isn't available. I used Asana in a previous job and it was great, only moved to Trello because new job used it. 

Do we know if there's any plans for this to be implemented to workspace calendar at all in the near future?

Any updates on the checklist due dates being added to calendar view and also sync to outlook? I agree with a lot of the comments here, not having the checklist due dates in the calendar view means that I cannot use the checklist as I need all my due dates in the same place.

Currently syncing trello to outlook calendar with cronofy so that I could have all of my due dates in the same place, however this only works for cards, the checklist items do not get synced which causes issues for me and our company.

Really would like to see the feature of:

1. Checklist Items Syncing to Trello Calendar View for All Boards
2. Ability to also sync both card due dates and checklist item due dates to outlook calendar via cronofy or other affordable powerup. (would prefer native 2-way sync of course within trello)

It is a shame as the checklist feature is great but becomes obsolete for me without the ability to see all due dates in one place. If this does not get added soon, will need to consider moving to Asana, although would love to see the updates to trello and stay here.

I think trello is awesome but this seems like a big flaw for PM use for our company. Thanks for your consideration.
