I have Trello installed on a Windows laptop. Every time I open it, the app defaults to being almost maximised (so-called 'restore down', it is almost full screen but not quite). I would really appreciate not having to click 'maximise' every time I open Trello!
I've Googled it, there are lots of tips for how you can force apps to open maximised via properties on a shortcut, but that doesn't help (doesn't work for me, either!)
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi Alex,
Can you please uninstall the desktop app and install it again, but making sure to follow the instructions here:
How to Uninstall the Trello Desktop App (https://help.trello.com/article/1107-how-to-uninstall-the-trello-desktop-app)
I know this is a very general suggestion, but it helps us narrow down the investigation by making sure you have the most recent version of the app and that there is no leftover data from previous versions.
Hi Vini,
Thanks for the suggestion, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and followed the instructions to remove the cache. However, the problem is still occurring! Thanks for your investigative help with this annoying problem.

If it helps, I noticed that when the Trello app opens to this default 'not quite maximised' window, the mouse turns into a double-headed resizing arrow all around the border, which is normal...except the mouse doesn't do this for the majority of the length of the title bar - see attached photos. That isn't what happens with any other app that is 'nearly maximised'.
