Why is there still no Custom Due Date Reminder

Someone asked this back in 2017 and it's unbelievable that due date reminders only extend as far behind as 2 weeks before the due date. Surely this should have been put as a priority request by now. I have so many tasks that need to be started a week before the due date and being able to set custom reminders in Trello would be useful

Hi @Feroz Khan

You can cobble together Due Date automations in Butler, which I suppose is 'custom', in a way.

I used to have labels, for example 'start7', then set a Due Date automation to send me an email when a card with that label is 7 days away from the Due date, with the link to the card in the description...

...but it is a workaround for what should be an easy option to set. I mean, they give you the field 'Start Date' now, but you can't use it for anything, except being able to see that it is set if you happen to looking...

Happy to have anyone else's input if I haven't understood it properly either though!
