I've just jumped into a company Trello board and there seems to be a setting in place which is automatically creating a list with the persons first name when they are tagged in a ticket. It's causing all sorts of issues with notifications so I'm trying to find a way to turn it off - There's no automations pertaining to it, nor any powerups that I can see influencing this (Gdrive, advanced search and countdown). If I archive the list and make a new ticket and tag a person, the list is created anew (or reappears)
My tickets are not automatically creating a personal list which makes me think that this is something that people have been added into. Any ideas of what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Kelsey, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I hope you’re enjoying Trello, and I'm sorry to hear about your issue.
Even though you said, there is no automation. One possibility is that there is automation in place that is only visible to some members of the board.
To check for this, you can look at the board's last activities. This will show you who has been making changes to the board recently, like creating new lists.
If you see that a member is creating the lists, you can ask them if they have any automation rules in place. If they do, you can see if they would be willing to share those rules with you so that you can understand what's happening.
Another possibility is the Power-Up you're using on the board.
I hope this is helpful! If you're still having trouble, feel free to submit a new ticket with us, we'll be happy to investigate that together.
