I have a Butler automation button that includes the first step as "Mark due date complete", however when it triggers, the due date is removed! I need to refer to the due date later, so I have no idea why it gets removed.
I can complete the due date manually, and it remains visible (but completed):
@Ian Warn welcoem to the community! can you show a screenshot of the rule that is doing that? Marking due date as complete should be checking the due date, not removing it, so there might be some other automation somewhere that is removing a due cate. Check the "enabled" option on the filter in all your automation sections (Rules, Due Dates, Calendar, etc.) and make sure there are no rules that are "removing due date".
Thanks @Brittany Joiner - the rule is on a button. When I add the rule, the due date is removed. If I remove this rule, the due date stays as it was. There is one other rule that completes the due date (for cards that are manually moved to the same list). Perhaps it's only disappearing for due dates that are already completed, and trying to complete it twice?

@Ian Warn hmm, that's an interesting guess, but i don't think it would do that because removing and clearing the due due is a separate action. I have something similar in my boards where i have a button for completing a task, and some automation for marking due date complete when a card moves into a list. So i don't think you're actually doing anything wrong here.
Can you record a screen share of the behavior where it actually removes the due date? And then can you send a screenshot of the "activity" section of that same card?
