I used to be able to copy an image to the clipboard or use Windows 10 Alt + Print SCRN to copy a screenshot (image) of the current window and then paste the contents of the clipboard into the "Attachment" field of a card and that would upload and attach that to the card as an image. It no longer works, please put that feature back in place as it was used very often to create the card cover.
I have received the answer in another post - Thank you to @Andrea Crawford
We have been making some changes to the card view and I believe the behavior of pasting a file into the "Search or paste a link" has changed as a result. However, you can paste anywhere on the card, which would save you a click (there's no need to open the attachment menu at all).
- copy an image to clipboard
- hover your mouse anywhere over the card
- ctrl + V should upload the image
Does this work for you? I realize it's a slightly different process than what you're accustomed to, but It should save you a click. Let me know...
Maybe you upgraded your Windows OS. Please make sure that when you take the screenshot the Windows operating system (OS) is copying the image to your clipboard, then you can use to CTRL+V to paste it (i.e. add it to the card as an attachment). Thank you but I just got the answer from another post. Turns out in the past the only place this worked was in the "Attachment > Search or paste a link" field as the paste target. Now, I just found out that the whole card is now the target and you can paste anywhere (except that field, apparently ... lol).
