Why are linked cards from the same board marked with a red lock?

Since the recent visual update, the behaviour of my Board has changed.

Previously, if I linked to a card within a checklist of another card it would show me the cards title.

Now, all I can see is a red lock and obfuscated card title (URL only). See attached.

My board is a Private board for myself and I'm on the Free account type.

Would anyone know why this is now happening? Is it a settings issue? Or has Trello changed its visibility settings for Free users?

I had same issue. I noticed that the red lock was shown on the browser only. When I use trello application from phone works perfectly.

To solve this problem in the browser, I just login again and it worked.

This isn't an answer, but I noticed that to be true on my enterprise account, but not on my personal free account.
