For years the cover images have remained unaltered and quality has not dropped, but in the last week or so they have been getting converted to webp or jpegs. With the image conversion quality of the image has severely dropped with image transparency disappearing, colors being altered, and image quality becoming blurry.
Is there a fix on the horizon, is this a known bug, or is there an option to prevent the conversion of cover images to these formats? As of right now the only way to view the correct image is to click the attachment and open it in a new window.
Not using pngs are not an option for my work, so I'm looking forward to a potential fix or a reason behind the recent change. I am unable to attach relevant screenshots as I use Trello for work and the converted cover images are also for my work.
Same here. Not good. Would love an explanation as to why this was changed?
That will most likely be in the year 2000 and Never…
Trello have set up this community for a pointless reason, majority of people on here are trying to find answers to their own questions, not resolve other peoples issues, so unless you have a paid plan your basically doomed

I feel your frustration! My covers were absolutely perfect until I updated to trello’s recent version a few days ago and to my suprise everything is not perfect at all. All my card covers have multiple issues, Colours being altered, size formats being altered, some type of boarder placed around every cover image with a random background colour fill which I assume is trying to colour code with the colours in each image….
Every single one of my covers use to be perfect…until the update…..shocking
