I do not get Trello notifications even though I have every notification category selected.
I think the problem might be related to the fact that I am using an email address that I had with my company, and then after I left they got rid of said email address, and now I am back they brought it back.
I do get desktop notifications, but email would be much more helpful.

From your profile picture -> Personal settings, then at the bottom of the screen you have "
I do not see these specific options when I click my profile picture. I see "Settings" and then I have an "Email notifications" section, where everything is checked. Is this within Trello, or elsewhere?

For the "YOUR WEB SITE" part I'm assuming I'm using my Trello user account URL? If I do that it takes me to the same Settings page that I'm unsuccessfully trying to turn notifications on.
