I am a consultant for a company and they would like to start using Trello. There are four staff members. The owner would like everyone to have their own a/c, but the accounts need to be under one company (ie, her company). She would like to be able to see everyone's boards and add to them where necessary.
Can we do this under the free one or will we need to pay a subscription.

@Donna there's no sense in which a Trello account belongs to a company except in Enterprise which needs more than 4 people.
The best way to approach this is to have them create Trello accounts with their company emails, which you can then easily regain control of when they leave.
Business Class offers some useful administrative controls in that regard. You can give it a try and downgrade if it doesn't do what you need over and above the free plan.
Basically what you'll do is create a Team in Trello, add members to it using their company email addresses, then upgrade that team to Business Class.
Just be aware that if you have multiple teams, each business class, with the same accounts members of those different teams, you'll pay more than once for the same accounts. Because Business Class offers the ability to split boards up into Collections (the most common reason people on the free version have multiple teams) you shouldn't need more than one team anyway.
